We decided to go on a mini vacation for our 1st anniversery. We had some tickets for Wild Adventure theme park in Valdosta, that we had to use by the end of the year so it seemed like a good time to go. It's a pretty small park and other than my discontent at the condition of their animals, we had a good time. This was our first time leaving Lucy, and Louis was very concerned about her! Heaven help us if we do ever have kids! On our way home we stopped at Okeefanoke Swamp.

Tabitha finally decided that it was safe enough to eat. I was actually starting to get a little worried. She is definitely taking it the hardest. He is the best puppy in the whole wide world!
One day I'll be as big as you. Just you wait!

The Beach part 2

After we got tired of playing in the sand we went for a bike ride. You're just going to have to believe me on this because I didn't take pictures of the bikes. We like taking pictures of the scenery more than pictures of ourselves. Can you tell?

Lucy is a smart puppy. She learned how to sit after only a couple tries. Of course if someone would give me a cookie, I'd sit on command too! We've bought her lots of toys to play with but she prefers to sleep on them.
After about a week Combahee stopped resenting me for bringing home another dog. I think it was the realization that someone finally wanted to play with him.

Introducing Lucy! This is her first picture in her new home. She looks a little scared but I would be two after seeing all of her new siblings! However it didn't take her long to relax enough to pass out!

The Beach

I love the beachThe waves may not be very big but they're still fun to play in.
Louis is the best husband in the world. I asked if I could bury him in the sand and he said YES! It's actually not that much fun though.

Charleston visit

I got to go to Charleston for a few days to volunteer for the Family Circle Cup. It was great getting to see everybody, however I forgot that I had my camera until the last day. :( Going over the Wando Bridge on my way home.
